II. CONTENT

     2.1. All materials and learning resources contained in the PIIE-Library are related to Industrial

     engineering courses.

    2.2. All materials and learning resources contained in the PIIE-Library are patented, or at the very least,

    acknowledged by respected institutions to be a property of their students. 

    2.3. The PIIE-Library website only acts as a preview portfolio for all records in the archive.

    2.4. All the copies of the main documents are stored in an online storage and are only accessible

    through a link to be provided by the administrators.

III. RIGHT TO ACCESS

     3.1. To be able to gain access to any file within the PIIE-Library, one must accomplish the request form

     which can be found on the website. The said form includes the following information:

         a. Full name

         b. Email 

         c.  Birthday

         d. University/Affiliation:

         e. Student ID number (for students)

         f. Purpose of application

        g. Title of Requested Study to Access

    3.2. The accomplished form will be evaluated by the administrators to determine the availability of  the

    desired resources.

    3.3. Wait for an email regarding your request for access.

    3.4. Once an email containing the link of the PIIE-Library storage has been sent to your email address, 

    you are REQUIRED to send an acknowledgement response. This will indicate the start of

    the duration of your access.  

    3.5. Failure to send an acknowledgement response after 3 days of sending the link will result in the

    cancellation of request.

    3.6. The duration of access per application is only limited for 2 weeks. 

    3.7. Another application is required once you opt to to extend your access to the PIIE-Library. 

    3.8. If you wish to end your access before the set deadline of duration, you may directly send an email

    or leave a message in our contact page. 

    3.9. Your access will be automatically removed after the deadline of duration.

 

IV. PRIVACY

    4.1. All the information you provided during the application process will be used only for verification

    purposes. Rest assured that the organization will treat all these information with high confidentiality.

    4.2. Your access to the files within the library will be restricted to only viewing. In case you want to

    request for a downloadable copy, you may send an email to us and we shall the contact the author for

   said copy.

   4.3. You are highly responsible for proper citation of the authors’ work.

   4.4. Your access to the PIIE-library will be automatically revoked in the event of detected plagiarism.

 

V. USER'S GUIDE

    5.1. Browse the PIIE-Library website and Facebook page to keep track of the available materials in the

    library. 

    5.2. Make sure that all the information you submitted during the application is accurate. (section 3.1)

    5.3. Do not forget to send an acknowledgement response once the link has been sent to your email. You

    only have until 3 days to reply with our email. After that, your request will be immediately cancelled. 

    (section 3.4 and 3.5)

    5.4. Do not download or distribute any of the files without permission from the author or the

    administrators. Failure to comply will result in automatic removal of your access. (section 4.2)

    5.5. Properly cite your sources.

    5.6 It will be highly appreciated by the whole organization if you are willing to share your materials 

    such as:

        a. Research Paper

        b. Feasibility Study

        c. Case Studies

        d. Capstone Project

        e. Notes

    5.7. Materials to be shared should be owned by you and is not available on other educational sites such

    as conference pages.

    5.8. If you will share materials mentioned in section 5.6., rest assured that proper recognition or citation

    shall be given to you and other respective authors.

 

VI. SUBSCRIPTION

    6.1. If you wish to be updated with all upcoming files in the archives, you may fill up the subscription

    form at the bottom of the website. 

    6.2. The validity of access to the PIIE-Library will be just for 2 weeks (14 days). If you wish to extend,

    another request form must be submitted.

 

VII. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

    7.1. Our service contains a link to a third-party web sites, i.e. Google Drive, which is monitored by PIIE-

    Library.

    7.2. PIIE-Library has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or

    practices of any third-party web sites or services. 

    7.3. You further acknowledge and agree that PIIE-Library shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any

    damage or loss caused, or alleged to be caused, in connection with reliance on any such content,

    goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

 

VIII. MODIFICATIONS WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    8.1. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision

    is material, we will try to provide at least 15 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What

    constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. To access the site, you agree to

    the conditions above and acknowledge your responsibility as a scholar of engineering.
